Three Sisters Theatre Company is...
a Grand Valley home for unapologetically feminist theatre that uplifts marginalized voices and builds a brave, welcoming community. We create work that is honest, emotional, and artistically bold, and we take care of our people onstage and off. Our rehearsal rooms are welcoming spaces for anyone regardless of gender, race, orientation, age, etc. We champion mothers and caregivers, newcomers and seasoned artists, and anyone hungry to be seen and heard. Through powerful performances and community activism, we aim to spark conversation, open hearts, and inspire change. Our vision is to grow into a full-time nonprofit with a space of our own, financial stability, and the reach to light the way for those who have long been overlooked, right here in our small town and beyond.

Our ideal future would include not only a space, the opportunity to run the non-profit full time, and a consistent opportunity to bring the arts to life, but also an altruistic activism that reaches far and gives a voice to the voiceless. Both onstage and out in the community, we would like to be a light in the dark for marginalized individuals and to offer opportunities to women that have long been held back. At the end of our careers, we would like to be able to look back and see that we made a difference, that people felt seen because of our honest and open performances, that people had a safe place to be, that people felt emboldened to speak up and share their stories because we were brave enough to get the ball rolling. We are also very serious about bringing this vision to a small town, conservative area that has very little in the way of successful theatre and firm community because we so desperately need it. Big cities have these opportunities. We need this HERE.
